Solibri Basic training

A hands-on course in checking and quality-assuring BIM models. You leave able to find the problems in a model, explain them, and hand the project team a report they can act on. Taught by a Solibri certified training team in Norway and Sweden.

Who it's for

The course suits anyone who has to trust a BIM model, whether you book a single seat or train a whole team together.

You own model quality across the disciplines. The course gives you a repeatable way to check incoming models, log what is wrong, and hand each issue back to the right person to fix.

Check your own models before you share them. Find the clashes and data gaps yourself, early, instead of hearing about them later from someone else on the project.

Structural and MEP work has to fit the rest of the building. Learn to check your discipline model, see where it collides with others, and resolve it before it reaches the site.

You build from the models the design team delivers. Learn to validate what you receive, so you find the gaps and errors before they cost time and money in construction.

What you'll learn

By the end of the course you can take a model from any project and check it on your own. Here is what that covers.

Start by loading IFC models into Solibri and finding your way around them. You learn to move through the model, isolate what you need to look at, and read how the information is structured, so that the checking work that follows is fast and you are never lost in the file. This is the foundation the rest of the course builds on, and it works the same way whatever software produced the model.
