Green BIM Certificate: bring sustainability into your projects from the start

You learn the standards behind life cycle assessment and how a building's impact adds up across its life, from materials through use to end of life. This is the framework that makes the rest of the course concrete rather than abstract.

You learn the software side of sustainable building, taught in the Archicad context, including how an LCA tool like Anavitor LCA works alongside the model. You see how the data moves from the building model into a life cycle assessment, so the analysis is part of the work rather than a separate exercise.

You learn to model with sustainability in mind, so the information you need for analysis and certification is in the model from the start. Good modelling habits here save rework later and make the LCA and certification steps far smoother.

You learn how to run life cycle assessment early, when design decisions still have room to move and the impact on both carbon and cost is largest. This is where BIM and LCA together make the biggest difference.

You learn how to check sustainable building processes so the results hold up, from the data going in to the conclusions coming out. The course closes on the online exam, which you pass to earn the Green BIM Certificate.
