Need Archicad for offline use?

Step-by-step

Buy license subscription for required amount of users. Ask NBG sales to prepare those for offline use. As a subscription You will as an exception receive both the cloud based protection and old Codemeter possibility. Assign the old license type to admin or single user (s).
- Note that you are allowed only to use either one! Make sure You do not assign the cloud based to anyone so that you are not breaking the license parameters!
Prepare workstation for off-line use by installing all necessary (OS) updates
Download and install Graphisoft License manager tool (in short LMT).
Download Archicad (Codemeter) softkey (which naturally supports up to the latest version) from the company portal to workstation with LMT signed as the assigned user or admin.
Download latest Archicad (29) and update installers.
Move computer to offline premises, and / or even remove network card, USB ports...
Install Archicad and latest update. Since the software realizes it’s not in the internet, it’ll NOT ask user to sign-in with GSID upon startup.

NOTE: Since the software version update to 30 brings a new process, this will change in October 2026.
