IMPORT AN EXCEL FILE INTO ANAVITOR

IMPORTING DATA FROM EXCEL INTO ANAVITOR ALLOWS YOU TO ADD AND UPDATE PROJECT DATA QUICKLY AND ACCURATELY DIRECTLY FROM EXCEL. FOLLOW THE STEPS BELOW TO PREPARE YOUR EXCEL FILE AND IMPORT IT CORRECTLY INTO THE SYSTEM.

Prepare Your Excel File

Before importing, make sure your Excel file has the correct structure.

  1. Open the Excel template provided by Anavitor.

  2. Add at least four properties – you can add more if needed.

    • One should be your Primary Grouping Property.

    • One should be your Object Name.

    • You also need a Quantity Property and a Quantity Unit.

    • Any additional properties you add will automatically become grouping properties in Anavitor.

  3. Your Excel sheet might look like below images: 

  4. Specify the Quantity Unit using one of the following:

    • m, m2, m3, pcs, or kg.

    • Note: You cannot use alternative spellings such as m² or m³.

💡 Tip: Use the official Excel template from Anavitor to ensure your columns match the correct field names in the system.

Import the File into Anavitor

  1. Go to Project and select Subproject.

  2. Click Select File in Anavitor.

  3. Browse and choose your Excel file from your computer.

  4. Click Upload.

  5. Review the result and make sure the data is correctly mapped to the appropriate columns.
